CY-NC500-0.2 is an extremely powerful dual-channel digital power amplifier with Sub EQ capabilities in our regular series, capable of driving a pair of high performance subwoofers with demanding power requirements. Powered by 2 pcs of Hypex's Ncore NC500 modules, this amplifier delivers extraordinary low frequency performance with its superb detail, resolution and low frequency extension, as well as ultra-low noise distortion and extremely fast transient response. To get the most out of the NC500's capabilities, our custom-designed BB-SPL7879C-2F buffer board features the cutting-edge Sparkos Labs SS78XX and SS79XX discrete voltage regulators, eliminating any unnecessary noise and interference before the power reaches the Op amps of this buffer board, thus supplying extremely stable power to the module. In addition to adapting to most of the popular Op amps in the market, it can also be configured with other audiophile-grade Op amps, making the bass more elastic, more spacious and more layered while providing deeper with impact performance. Benefiting from the continuous innovation of digital amplifier technologies over the years, our latest generation of amplifiers not only retains the unique sound characteristics, high efficiency power and lightweight size of previous digital amplifiers, but also provides sound quality comparable to traditional amplifiers on the market that are several times more expensive, whether it is Class-A, Class-AB and even other Class-D types. By using our specially designed LPS-AUX02C-2V auxiliary power module, versatile power supply functions are implemented to make this amplifier even more powerful. The main function of this power module is to further improve the efficiency of the buffer board, taking the audio performance of this amplifier to another level. With two sets of internal power supplies, it independently powers the buffer board of each channel to secure that the Op amps of each channel obtain the most stable current supply. To further bring the power quality closer to perfection, each set of power supplies uses an audiophile-quality linear power supply to power the buffer board, which perfectly complements its ultra noise reduction SS78XX/SS79XX voltage regulators, ensuring that the Op amps draw the purest and cleanest power in the entire power chain. In addition, a variety of efficient power management functions are also provided, including the ability to control the power state of the main power supply and support for 12V trigger control switch functions. As for the main power, this amplifier in the Regular Series is supplied by our SMPS1500-PFCR7M switching power supply customized by our engineers for the NC500, providing stable current support for their superior performance.
Introducing its dual-power supply version, CY-NCx500-0.2D, to satisfy customers who cannot compromise on any music details. This model is a true dual-mono system to ensure that the power supply of each channel is independent and does not interfere with each other, so that when listening to songs with large dynamic ranges such as jazz or classical music, each channel has continuous of power supply. In the standard configuration of our regular series, each buffer board of this subwoofer amplifier comes with TI Dual OPA828 Op amps, and all connectors are equipped with our carefully selected high quality components. Benefiting from internal structure of the modular configuration, Op amps can be replaced with audiophile-grade Sonic Imagery 994Enh full-discrete Class-A Op amps upon customers request. Not just limited to Op amps, customers can also choose to upgrade other components before shipment, including power IEC inlet, XLR Socket and speaker post as well as Neotech 7N UP-OCC copper internal cable and other accessories. In addition, the existing single-power system can be upgraded to a dual-power system in the future by adding another SMPS1500-PFCR7M switching power supply. Through the control buttons on the front panel, various EQ parameters of the sub frequency can be adjusted, including volume control, low frequency cutoff, and phase control, making it user-friendly to integrate with the characteristics of different types of subwoofers to achieve optimal performance. Lastly, all of our amplifiers also employ a new symmetrical internal and rear panel layout to keep the internal wiring as short as possible.
